Swing Doors | Bi Folding Doors | Sliding Doors
Summit Double Glazing offers a complete range of automatic door systems for all applications including door operators. We work with you to ensure that our design compliments your building and utilizes the best use of space. Fully automatic swing doors are normally activated by passive infra-red (PIR) sensors fitted above the door or mounted from the ceiling.
Automatic swing doors are ideal where there is no passing or waiting traffic around the sensors activating zone which would cause the doors to open unnecessarily, for this reason corridors are particularly suited to swing automatic doors.
All sliding doors are fitted to a top track which alleviates the requirement for any floor tracks. All Sliding operators are supplied with a fully monitored battery back up system which will ensure the doors open in the event of power failure or fire alarm activation.
Simular to Sliding doors Bi-folding doors have a battery back up system which will lead to the doors opening in the event of power failure or fire alarm activation. Bi folding doors can be supplied with a Full Break-out facility if required
Industrail Doors
Traditional industrial roller shutter doors are designed to suit industrial and commercial premises. All doors operate by either manual lift up, hand chain or single phase electric motors, which guarantees a smooth performance. They are constructed of specially designed concave interlocking 75mm galvanised steel slats. Manufactured to the highest standard using the best quality materials with heavy duty section bottom rails that provides added strength to each door. A full range of powder coat (BS or RAL standard) finishes to most applications ensure an attractive quality coloured finish that blends in with any building's decor.
Spring & Lock Operated
Shutters installed on the outside of the property, mainly over door entrances are raised up and down by hand. Spring loaded for easy of lifting. A security centre lock is positioned on the bottom rail slat.
Electric Operated
Electric motors single phase are used depending on the application. Operation can be with an internal switch unit, external security key-switch or with a remote control unit.
Chain Operated
Chain operated roller shutter doors for internal application, operate by simply lifting the chain up and down. The door is spring loaded for easy lifting. The chain can be pad-locked back into the keep for additional security.
